'Homophobia' and Music Ed?

http://www.onenewsnow.com/Education/Default.aspx?id=839752

In the article, Bergonzi contends that traditional music education reinforces a heterosexual lifestyle to the detriment of homosexual students who often feel left out. He notes that traditionally speaking, heterosexual love is often the subject of most music -- and argues that as a result, heterosexual students are often more privileged than their homosexual counterparts. He goes on to argue that homosexual music students often feel left out and have no one to talk to about their love issues. The music professor also makes mention that heterosexual music teachers have advantages over their homosexual co-workers because they do not have to hide their true selves. Bergonzi ultimately concludes that sexual orientation should be a vital aspect of music education, and that homosexual musicians should be highlighted and celebrated.

Wow, just wow.

N.H. 'Gay Marriage' Bill Finally Goes to Gov. Benson

http://srnnews.townhall.com/news/religion/2009/06/03/nh_gay_marriage_bill_finally_goes_to_gov

"Social conservatives had high hopes Lynch would veto H.B. 436, because as recently as mid-April he had said he believed the "word marriage is reserved for a marriage between a man and a woman." Lynch, though, disappointed conservatives in mid-May when he said he would sign the bill if a separate bill protecting religious liberties was passed. That separate bill was H.B. 73, which passed Wednesday."

What he meant to say was that "marriage is between a man and a woman unless I have a bill that I can sign to legalize it."

Perez Hilton calls Miss California a 'dumb bitch'

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1172123/God-testing-faith-says-Miss-California-Perez-Hilton-calls-dumb-bitch-gay-marriage-row.html

And I thought gay people were suppose to be more tolerant and open-minded...apparently not. Perez Hilton should watch out though, Miss California could easily take him down with just her abs.

And also, since when does having a gay guy judge a MISS America competition make any sense?
