I cannot take credit for remembering this, but rather heard it on Jay Severin. It's kind of a stretch in my opinoin, but still quite comedic.
This is an article from Spring 2007 where Obama calls for the firing of Don Imus over his "nappy-headed hos" comment:

Fast foward almost a year and Obama on the Tonight Show said this in reference to his bowling skills:
"It's like the Special Olympics or something."
